Recipe of the Month: September 2014
Grandmother’s Blueberry Pie
Cream 3/4 cup of sugar with 1 stick of butter. Read more about creaming here.
Add the following:
3/4 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon baking powder
Put this into buttered pie pan. Cover with 8 oz. blueberries. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top.
Bake at 350 Degrees for 30 minutes. Make certain center is cooked.
Serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
